The Mercia 7 x 5 Double Storey Playhouses offers a charming, two storey cottage inspired playhouse in which your children can have fun, play and let their imaginations run wild! Featuring a minimum 12mm finger gap around the door, rounded timbers and ventilation holes, our playhouses are EN71 certified and UKCA Marked, to ensure they’re safe for your children to play with every day. Made in the UK, using sustainably sourced timber, this playhouse is constructed using quality materials to ensure a strong and weatherproof build.
The walls of this playhouse are constructed using premium horizontal interlocking tongue and groove boards with a shiplap profile. The shiplap profile includes a protective and aesthetically pleasing lip to create a strong, weatherproof panel. Complete with thick wooden framing to support the cladding internally, this building offers a rigid and long-lasting structure.
Heavy-duty tongue and groove boards are used to construct the roof and floor of this playhouse. Using an interlocking method, the boards lock together to create a premium, strong and hard-wearing finish which is ideal for frequently used buildings and heavier items. Robust roofing felt, fixtures and fittings are all supplied as standard, alongside our detailed instructions and our manufacturer’s recommendations, to ensure a simple and stress free assembly process.
All of our buildings come with an Anti-rot guarantee, to ensure your garden building looks great and lasts the test of time, this building in particular comes with a conditional 10 year Anti-rot guarantee as well as a 12 month manufacturer’s warranty. Annual re-treatment is required to maintain your building and the Anti-rot guarantee.

Throughout the entirety of our design process, the safety of our playhouses is paramount. This is why all our playhouses are EN71 Certified and UKCA Marked. The Snowdrop includes a number of design features that ensure daily play is safe for everyone. Such as ladder treads to avoid slipping, rounded timbers to prevent splinters and a 12mm safety finger gap around the door.
Manufactured here in the UK, this playhouse uses ethically sourced FSC® certified timber. Premium Shiplap boards form the walls of this playhouse creating a panel that is durable and watertight. The structure is further supported by strong internal framing and the addition of a Solid Sheet Board roof and floor. A hard-wearing material that can easily withstand daily use.
Robust fixtures and fittings and high-grade mineral felt are supplied as standard with this playhouse. For a stress-free assembly, we also include our detailed instructions.
Our entire playhouse range benefits from our 10 year Anti-rot Guarantee. You will just need to treat your garden building annually with a high-quality wood preservative and a waterproof topcoat. Then your guarantee will be good to go!

Assembly Instructions
Professional Installation Available
We like to make the shed buying process as stress-free as possible, that's why we offer a professional and efficient Installation service across a wide range of our garden products, including sheds, summerhouses, greenhouses, playhouses, log cabins and insulated garden rooms. So you can sit back, relax and let our expert fitters take care of everything.
Once you have purchased our Installation service, our helpful customer service team will send you all the necessary information on how to prepare your garden for the installation. Before we arrange the installation we must ensure you have a firm, level base with a minimum of 60 cm space surrounding, for our installers to assemble your garden building upon and ensure they leave you with a building fit for many years of service. Once confirmed we will arrange a date that best suits you.
Installation will take place on the same day as the delivery of your building. Our friendly team will keep in contact and you'll be given a 2-hour delivery slot, meaning there is no need for you to wait in all day. Our expert fitters are fully trained and will work professionally, carefully and quickly to ensure that your new garden building is constructed safely and to the highest standard in your chosen location.
Once completed, our team will make sure to clean up afterwards, leaving you to unwind and enjoy your brand new garden building.
